Many people aren't aware, even Californians, that the biggest redwood trees in the world are Sequoia Redwoods. The sequoia grows in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Gosh, we're in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Yes folks, you guessed right. The largest growing, living things found in the world are right here in our own back yard at Big Trees State Park.
